Power In Numbers

POWER IN NUMBERS - Global World - Virtual World - indicates that we are in community whether we choose to participate or not. Going it alone may have worked 40 years ago, with the self-made concept of the American Dream. That's changed. Today no one can be an island unto themselves and function at an optimum potential level.

Consider the following:
  • We can entertain the notion of the power on ONE. Each person contributing their bit to help balance and change the world. Contributing our talent and resources does work, in this sense.
  • We can entertain the notion that when several gather with intention, purpose, there is an 'exponential power' or receiving line - that emanates toward the desired objective, which can include common projects, prayers for peace, good health, ETC.
  • We can entertain that there is a collective consciousness that permeates, likened to the sun rising in one spot one day and shifting several degrees the following day, so does this collective awareness.
Does our well-being rely on this collective awareness?
Be aware of it. Operate clearly, outside of it. So, much fear-based vibes are put out daily; lip-speak, gossip trails, that the truth is most likely left out of the mix. Many concerns are habituated by the need to communicate, to dramatize events or to avoid what is really affecting our lives.
  • Entertain staying on target with your intention, goals and pursuits. By focusing on what you can affect alleviates the time-wasters and energy drains of the collective. With that you will attract like minds and those with similar purpose to make the positive contributions that you mutually support - and benefit from ‘power in numbers’.

FINANCIAL CRISIS & YOU

Freedom's Just Another Word For Nothing Let To Lose (Bobby McGee)

We reached a pandemic proportioned ‘financial alert’ in the past few weeks. The Dow’s plummeting, global monetary systems are on alert, the housing and oil crisis hammering at our sanity.Part of living in these 'instant messaging' times is steering clear of 'mass fear and hysteria'. How can one stay informed, yet stay balanced and centered. Let's examine a few techniques.

1. Don't listen to every pundit. Consider the source. If we checked their track records or past predictions, we might even be more cautious to readily jump on their proposed rescue wagon.

2. What actually applies to your personal situation right now? Is it a plummeting 401K or are you facing losing your car, house, or credit rating. If that's the case, staying informed to broader scoped solutions, like bail out plans, liquidating other assets, cutting back, or even waiting out the storm as long as possible, may be wise. That is, until a clear resolution takes form.

3. Mind-set and attitude. This is the number one SECRET. What beliefs we hold regarding what we have; keeping it, or losing it can be adjusted in the interim or the crisis. If you feel life is not worth living in another house or that doom and gloom is inevitable for you, your family, nation and planet, it may be time to reevaluate your priorities and values, superstitions, fears and out-moded beliefs.

4. Make a short list of the five things that matter most to you. Is it health, family, serving others, peace, financial security, or whatever?
From that list, decide to be GRATEFUL for what is in place in your life. Be it, loving friends and family, good health, a puppy, that bring a smile, a deep sigh of relief or a calmer spirit in the moment. Continue the gratitude habit. Observe, take note - is there a slight shift in your perception? Are the ‘crisis issues seemingly neutralizing, no longer dominate, or immobilizing you during this 'mass hysteria'.

5. Trust you will do what you can, in the moment, to seize the opportunity for positive change. To seek professional counsel, garner correct information expeditiously for the best outcome.

6. SMILE AND PASS IT FORWARD - TO EASE THE PANIC SYNDROME

Yuen Method

YUEN METHOD - HOLLYWOOD MAG

Everyday provides an opportunity to learn and grow, enjoy and participate in our well-being. Learning as a lifelong process has been attributed to longevity. Curious connection and wonderment leads to more joy in living. On a daily basis our frustrations, physical ailments, pain, depression, stress, and limited beliefs block our potential. My experience in a week-end training with Dr. Kam Yuen, renowned healer, 35th generation Shaolin Grand Master of Kung Fu, and creator of the Yuen Method was about to give me a new lease on life!
In a quest to cope with my grief over the loss of Byron, my precious, 22 year-old-son, I began a conscious effort to ‘Live in his memory’. It was decision I made, knowing that was what he would want for me. My tumultuous inner pain, remorse, and unresolved issues made that possibility a future goal, rather than a reality. Losing a child is one of the most difficult losses to survive. The grief can be all consuming, it can depress, immobilize, leaving one with crippling sensations of hopelessness and a diminished will to go on. There were days when I was flat out, suffering in physical and emotional agony, as if a stake were being driven through my heart. I would attempt to breathe through it, praying it would cease or I would surely succumb to a broken spirit.
While Byron was alive, I desperately searched for doctors that dealt with the whole person; body, mind, spirit. He had been given mass dosages of psychotropic medications by psychiatrists, who refused to consider, or test for an underlying cause for his impulsive and heightened energy levels. They ignored tests that indicated hormonal imbalances that could cause mood swings or his off the charts, high Cortisol levels, which cause anxiety and a perpetual flight or flee reaction. Once the medication syndrome began, it became an exercise in futility. There was not a facility in the USA that was equipped and knowledgeable regarding the detoxification of the debilitating psychotropic’s that were numbing, sedating, and making Byron isolative.
The medications affected Byron neurologically. As a kid, he was a Black Belt in TAE Kwon Do, and after taking the meds he slowed down to a physical halt, barely able to jog. He developed Tachycardia and the doctors ignored the life-threatening consequences. Modern psychiatry is floundering in the dark ages, controlled by the pharmaceutical companies - A multi-billion dollar business, fueled by insurance companies that ultimately dictate a patient’s treatment. My son became a tragic victim of this insanity and out of sheer ignorance I trusted the medical care system that failed him.
Four months after Byron’s passing, I was in the throes of deep grief; floundering in guilt, remorse, and sadness. Yet, at other times an ecstatic awareness pervaded, “That I was, I am, and always will be in a profound connection with Byron’s soul.”
In a week-end workshop with Dr. Kam Yuen, an awareness shift, reframing my grief and redefining my life’s purpose would dramatically unfold. The Yuen Method involves the balancing of body, psyche, mental, spirit in a practical way. As a beginning practice we learned to go into a neutral state, detaching from our issue, whether it was physical pain, emotional depression, financial woes, or whatever. The technique involves placing a hand over the midline region; repeat the words “go to neutral”. Instantaneously, I felt a detached awareness. From this neutral state of being, the art of intuitive sensing can be developed and utilized. For many of the participants, not to think, analyze or to be unattached to outcomes is diametrically opposed to a traditional learning process. In my quest to heal, I knew I would then find a way to help someone else from going down the same path…as I did with Byron. As humans we have a collective programming that has existed for eons. Triggers, whether emotional, situational or psychologically based precipitate and set-off the unconscious choices we make. Imagine if we were able to delete our reaction to limiting and debilitating core issues and operate from a less reactive neutral zone. Dr. Yuen, by affecting a non-reactive neutral state (body, mind, and spirit) allows the space to unearth the inhibitors that keep us from moving forward. From a detached state of awareness, triggers of frustration, the limiting and unfulfilling inhibitors and self- saboteurs are diminished in our life. This quantum notion involves transformation for the healing of pain, ailments and other dysfunction.
Starting from a ‘neutral’ state is important or we are overly charged and unable to intuit. If treating yourself, place a hand across your midline and repeat, “neutral.” It’s that simple and instantaneous. Dr. Yuen shared, “If it takes more than two seconds to determine the ‘truth’, you’re taking too long.”
The Yuen Method is a learnable technique that a lay person, as well as chiropractors or doctors can use. As Dr. Yuen worked with the other participants, I was learning by osmosis. Dr. Yuen’s precise questioning, Socratic in nature and intuitive is spontaneous, helping one to listen and respond to what comes in the moment. Muscle testing the participant is a simple technique to determine whether they test strong or weak on an issue. The participant has arm outstretched and you ask the question, “Are you unhappy with your finances?” The practitioner, then pushes on the arm with pressure. If it goes down, it indicates weak. Indicating, “Yes “, I’m unhappy about finances. If the arm remains up, and strong, it indicates, “No”, I’m not unhappy about finances.
If the person tested weak, a correction is done. The correction can involve root aspects, including emotional, psychological, physical, spiritual, psychic, or mental possibilities. When the practitioner goes through the list, testing, a clearer cause is determined; that can include several different root aspects. While moving a hand across the lower abdomen or back, the practitioner repeats, “Correct for that.” The process continues, until the issue is neutralized or diminished.
“Do you feel a shift?” requires a “yes “or “No” answer. Learning to be aware, to recognize and acknowledge the shift, regardless how minor gives space for the next observable question. By saying “Yes” my arm pain is reduced a little, and then going on and on with, “but the pain is still there”, rather than acknowledging the slight improvement, negates the shift. Either you are pregnant or you are not, is Dr. Yuen’s example, for simply saying, “Yes or No”.
While working with me on my grieving state, Dr. Yuen proceeded to ask me questions. My mind seemed blank, as we dealt with my guilt and feelings, “What didn’t I do to help Byron”, “Did I do the wrong thing”, or the answerable, ”Why did he have an untimely death?”
Dr. Yuen asked the unfathomable, “Do you believe you have to grieve?” Viscerally, I accepted that was a given. Everyone grieves. It isn’t a concept, or a mere belief - I missed my son. “Yes or no?” Dr. Yuen prodded. I grumbled and mumbled, was thrown into a blank-mind, finally admitting, “Yes” I do believe I have to grieve. The awareness stunned me. I felt a shift immediately. I was much calmer, lighter in being. Dr. Yuen was direct, “Now you can help others deal with their loss.”
Dr. Yuen ‘corrected’ the energy charge, removing it. Reducing the extreme despair, when thinking the same thoughts - The whys and should haves, the guilt’s, punishing myself for being here when Byron, my beloved son, had transitioned before me.
Since the class, I have been practicing the Yuen Method on myself, from eliminating neck pain or procrastination to moving out of stuck behavior or inertia. For example, if a task feels monumental and I’m resisting getting started, I muscle test for the root cause, which could be the fear of not completing it or giving into the underlying depression, that nothing is worth it anymore. Whatever the case, I ‘correct’ for it.
A boon also arrived; I slowly began a relationship with Byron, in the multi-dimension plane he operates in, out of the human form, an unfolding revelation of a loving eternal soul to soul connection.
How amazing to find a transformational quantum energy technique in our fast paced world that works quickly to alter bad habits, eliminate addictions, get pain relief, and even change erroneous beliefs about financial security, losing weight, or aging.
These extraordinary possibilities are accessible. Visit www.yuenmethod.com for classes and private sessions with Dr. Yuen.
HOLLYWOOD MAG.ORG - ‘MATRIX KIDS’ -

I was bowled over in the ‘Matrix Kids’ workshop geared for kids and parents in Los Angeles. What a Blast. In the midst of frolicking and having fun we learned about quantum physics, healing and tuning into the subtle energy existing in all living things. And, that was for starters.
Matrix Kids is an amazing offshoot of Matrix Energetics, an internationally acclaimed quantum-technology, created by Dr. Richard Bartlett, a visionary-shaman and award winning author.
Matrix Kids was brilliantly conceived and facilitated by Dr. Bartlett’s daughter, Justice Bartlett, with the assistance of Destiny, her precocious nine-year-old-daughter (going on 30-something), and inciteful, Karen Sperling. Justice, dressed in a sparkly headband and waving dolphin balloons, transported us into the world of make-believe and genius making.
Matrix Energetics technique starts with a gentle light touch and power-focused intent. The easily learnable two-point technique is a neutral start point, a quantifiable measurement to help determine the core of an issue, whether physical, emotional, psychological, etc. It builds into a new and joy-filled state that can affect life changes; alleviating the debilitating effects of past injuries, trauma and emotional patterns. It might sound like a big claim or a placebo effect. On the contrary, the beauty is that once the techniques are learned you can practice them on yourself, with family members, friends, whenever you feel stuck, wanting to change habituated behavior, or alleviate pain from an aching shoulder (Which I did in the workshop).
To test our skills we interacted with other participants, ranging in age from 7 to 60. One of my partners was an eleven-year-old girl. I was the one who giggled, was a bit shy, and reticent to try. Soon my have to ‘know it all’ adult persona took a back seat and I was in the moment having a real experience.
Destiny, our young co-facilitator, came over to assist. I closed my eyes as my young partner moved her hands in various two-points, sensing and adding other techniques, such as time-travel, going back or forward, sensing fears of the past, or future concerns that create limitations. Destiny chimed in, “Archetype!! She wants an archetype. Let’s see.” She pondered, then waving her fingers toward my heart, she smiled, “Let’s put in a little cupid for protection and fun.”
An inexplicable energy ignited. I spontaneously laughed and cried at the same time, releasing sorrow and capturing joy. How extraordinary that on a subtle level Destiny perceived the significance of a cupid symbol for me. Unbeknownst to her, I was grieving the recent loss of my 22-year-old beloved son, Byron. On Mother’s Day Byron had given me a golden cupid candle holder, and he told me, “Mom, this little cupid will always bring love and protect you.” I gave Destiny and my partner a three-way hug. I felt a peaceful, loving shift within me, connected to Byron’s spirit, myself and my magical young teachers.
Captivated with the experience, I asked Destiny,”How are you was so confident in doing the techniques?” Her answer was awesomely simple, “I just see the Matrix, and connect what’s missing.” At that moment Justice’s voice rang out over the microphone, “Remember in the Matrix our perception of time and space alters and physical and emotional conditions can be resolved with the speed of thought.” I nodded in agreement. Somehow I felt lighter, in preparation to live fully in Byron’s memory, ladened with expansive possibilities yet to be revealed.
As a child advocate, I have been concerned with the pervasive techno invasion – mind-numbing TV, addictive video games bent on violence. And with the computer mania., youth create a virtual community of friends, and the habitual group-think programming, limiting the expression of their unique individuality.
Kid Matrix promotes ‘Learning to see what you don’t see’ and ‘Keeping the magic alive’ as a self-directed healing and life-skill technology. It identifies what kids intuit, perceive and understand naturally, so they won’t lose it, only to relearn what’s natural later on when the analytical mind prevails (often turning- off the tenets of curiosity, imagination and the openness to learn). Using archetypes, imaginative time-travel, and attuning to energy frequencies the youngsters (and parents alike) were happy kids romping about in a candy shop, playing and instantaneously adopting both intuitive and practical decision making life-skills.
We played in the Matrix zone, learning practical lessons in building trust, intuition, communication between peers, kids and parents. Choosing to observe our reactions in a new way, our limited concepts collapse and new possibilities materialize instantly.
Parents-adults rediscovered the art of play through arts and crafts, games and film clips. . Tapping into curiosity and innocence- ‘Not needing to know’- gave space for the all-knowing-intuitive ‘inner child’ to emerge, triggering ‘Joy as a way of Being’.
Hurrah for the younger kids whose analytical mind had not taken over. They still live in the realm of an imaginative inner and outer awareness. In the majority of adults this connected life force often lies dormant, with a vague memory of freedom’s spirit- while climbing a tree, having a butterfly land on your nose, to seeing sparkling waves scintillating in the sun in the ocean or pool. You learn to live in an awareness filled with curiosity, not programmed as a societal herd-ish clone. A vivid imagination is the source of living life as a creative potential of infinite possibilities. Matrix Kids elicits the combination of the wizardry of Harry Potter, the genius of Einstein to the radiant hope of “E.T.” (Film clips complemented Matrix concepts).
Call to all families… Opt in for Kids Matrix… Get your ticket. You are the main ride. The focus is on clarity, open communication, connecting with yourself and family members, being mindful and present. How refreshing to discover this long lost art that is available in our rush-rush, hurry up, fast-food world.
What a ball! A weekend filled with fun and surprise as we became shamans, healing our wounds and re-discovering joy. As described by Justice, “Shamans are wizards with their feet on the ground.”
